Personal Statement

I have always had an interest in programming, Before university, I did a bit of programming in some basic languages. I have always enjoyed the satisfaction that you get from seeing a result and making things happen. This is why I chose to be lead programmer on our game. I believe that since learning c# last year, my knowledge has improved ten fold over anything else I have learnt. However, I do enjoy all aspects of game design. This is why I have made some test animations, and I shall be doing other tasks, whether it'll be for personal projects or this game project. Coming from an art background as an ex illustrator student, I am also able to do modelling and texturing. However, I shall be prioritising programming more as this is my main job. I feel the skill that I have now is enough to be able to produce the final result that we all want. I am also still learning new things all the time and I feel I shall be at a better level by the end of this year and hopefully this will be reflected in the final product. I am quite confident in my skill and believe the work I have produced so far is enough to show this and hopefully everything will go (roughly) as planned!
